Turning Your Existing Static Racking Into a Smarter, Faster Carton Live System with Complete Lean Flow

If you’re still picking from static shelving or pallet racking, retrofitting to carton live storage is one of the quickest ways to boost flow, accuracy, and space efficiency without replacing your entire setup.
Your lowest racking locations currently used for pallet storage become high speed pick faces. By adding inclined roller tracks, your racking becomes a gravity fed, always ready picking system that supports faster throughput and natural FIFO rotation.
How the Retrofit Works
At its core, the upgrade is simple: You add carton flow lanes directly onto your existing racking, instantly transforming it into a dynamic picking zone.
Assessment Understand your current racking (dimensions, load limits), the cartons/totes you handle, and what you want to improve: speed, accuracy, FIFO, SKU density. Work out storage density and number of required pick faces to ensure guides are placed in the correct locations for your product.
• Design We will produce a CAD model of your racking profile and design your system to fit your existing racking, part of this will be calculations for flow rates etc to ensure the system works seamlessly.
Installation Pre formed brackets simply drop or hook onto your beams. You set the incline angle at the precalculated amount for consistent movement, add lane dividers for SKU separation, and adjust everything tool free as your product mix changes.
Integration With Your Existing Storage Lower levels become high speed pick faces. Upper levels stay as bulk storage, feeding the lanes below. It’s a clean, efficient way to blend fast moving picks with buffer stock.
Why Teams Retrofit
• Better Efficiency Products roll to the front automatically: less walking, fewer touches, faster picks.
• Built In FIFO Gravity does the work, ensuring the oldest stock is always picked first.
• More Storage in Less Space High density lanes mean more SKUs in the same footprint.
• Flexible and Future Proof Modular lanes can be reconfigured, expanded, or removed as your operation evolves.
